The main reason we collect your data is to complete work for you or provide you with a quote. For example, if we are to clean your carpets or other items we need to know your address to find your house. We also need to keep details on the items we cleaned or quoted on cleaning, so we can give you a smooth service both now and in the future. Your data allows us to know what work we have agreed to do and for how much. We will use your information to send you billing details for payment and receipts once payment has been received.

We must also keep invoice details to fulfil our requirements on accounting records and tax fillings. We do not directly store your banking information.
We will take cautionary measures to ensure we do not collect any personal data from you we do not need in order to provide and oversee the above services or information to you.

Third party use of data

Rothwell’s Cleaning Services Ltd will never sell your data. We do not believe in selling or passing on your data for other companies to use to market to you for their own purposes.

Third party reporting such as Google Analytics tracks usage on our website to track visitor numbers and usage to better the user experience and improve our website’s functionality.

If Rothwell’s Cleaning Services Ltd was ever to be sold, your data (our work history) could be part of that sale but only for the use of continuing Rothwell’s Cleaning Services Ltd business and not for other use.

Marketing and opting out / in.

How long will we store your data?

If Rothwell’s Cleaning Services Ltd provides any paid for services to you, we are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years. Your information we use for marketing and service providing purposes will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive information or services from us.

Any paper / hard copies of your data are destroyed after use.
